           Like a mother might her only child.


You claim it imposed itself upon you,
          But then you say it's yours.


You possess only what God gives you,
          Not some error in your thinking.


Inspired prayer and patient listening
         Will calm and abate any affliction.


You are God's child, perfect now,
          Just the way He made you to be.
