We who live life at Jesus' feet
(In a manner of speaking)
can encounter this:
we may think we're
face to face with sure defeat.
But we never are.
We cannot be.
A thing is never the loss
it may appear to be,
but ultimately and only gain
in everything that makes
life worth living.
Power belongs to Christ,
and those of us who stand with Him
will always be victorious --
whatever we may encounter,
temporarily.
