Our Lord's First Commandment

People can laugh at me

(And no doubt many will)

But I just can't help

Feeling the way I do:

I'm growing more and more

        In love with You.

And of obedience, thankfulness,

               And love,

Love is what our heavenly Father

   Wants from His children

         Most of all.




"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God

With all thy heart and with all thy soul,

And with all thy mind,

And with all thy strength."
