Lord of My Life

                  "Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of,

                                            before ye ask him."


                                               Christ Jesus



This assurance Jesus gave us, how glorious --

It more and more fills my waking thought,

Inspires me to trust in God's disposal of events,

As a child of His ought.

It frees me from the worry of

"How will such and such work out?'

"What will I do if this or that happens?"

It pervades my life with such peace!

And why ever not,

Since all that concerns us,

is in His hands?
