Most people, when they've been given good things, want to give something back. Such was it with me, with public libraries.
For years, these public institutions had been for me a source of enlightenment and uplift, especially the world-class Boston Public Library which I often frequented when we lived in Massachusetts. One day while doing some research in their magnificent Reading Room, the thought occurred, wouldn't it be nice if a book of mine could be on the shelf of some library to benefit patrons by bringing God into their thoughts and life. The realization of this aspiration was a long way off. But it did happen.
Our Master said, "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over..." (Luke 6:38) Christ Jesus had it right. And as a testament to the way this eternal truth can work in one's life, and as an encouragement to others who yearn to bless their fellow beings, below are the foreign locations whose libraries have my various books in their permanent collections.
